Cleaning Up The Roman Catholic Church… One Impostor at a Time

Today the Archdiocese of Philadelphia placed on administrative leavetwenty one priests alleged to have behaved inappropriately with minors, in spite of Cardinal Rigali’s statement on February 10, as follows:

I assure all the faithful that there are no archdiocesan priests in ministry today who have an admitted or established allegation of sexual abuse of a minor against them.”

Cardinal Rigali’s February 10  statement came after a grand jury had indicated that it had learned directly from the archdiocese that at least 37 priests remained in ministry despite what the jury called “substantial evidence of abuse”.

So why has Cardinal Rigali suddenly changed his mind?  After all the reported lies and cover-ups by Cardinal Bevilacqua and others, it seems that Cardinal Rigali may be afraid that he too could end up behind bars.

Do you believe Cardinal Rigali, or your lying eyes?

Except for the prayer for healing, Cardinal Rigali’s words are a waste of paper, and a disservice to the Church and society.
