Francis has noticed lately that there are many “defeated Christians” — in other words, materialistic atheists who turned their backs on Christ long ago.
He described these faithless individuals as those “who do not fully believe in the faith handed down to them by way of tradition.”
Has Francis forgotten that in less than a year after arriving in the Vatican he has declared a war on tradition?
Remember when Francis was asked…
What does it feel like to be called a “Marxist”?:
and he responded…
If Marxists are good people too– why is Francis worried about “defeated Christians”?
What incentive do these unbelievers have, when Francis himself says that all they have to do is “meet us there”— (wherever that is)– no doubt a brilliant approach of the “New Evangelization.” This has been Francis’s famous reach-out program to the “periphery.”
What about more than 2000 years of Christian martyrdom for the propagation of the faith?
Perhaps Francis can pay careful attention to the picture featured above, showing a life-size sand figure of him, in honor of his very relaxed and very untraditional approach to Catholicism at World Youth Day– where the Body of Christ was “distributed in plastic cups.”
Given the massive sacrilegious scenario of World Youth Day, how can Francis complain about “defeated Christians”?
Perhaps Francis will also consider that many “defeated Christians” are the result of more than 50 years of poor formation under the modernist guidelines of Vatican II– which Francis passionately embraces.
On the other hand, those who have followed the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church and reject Vatican II do not feel “defeated.”
Not at all.
In fact, traditionalists are now, more than ever, determined to defend the Latin Mass, the only true Mass, as the epicenter of tradition in the Church– in spite of Francis’s pronouncements against traditional practices, including prayers— while he fraternizes with Marxists.
