Marielena Montesino de Stuart received an invitation to be a special guest on Radio Martí’s “Cuba al día” broadcast on October 3, 2013, in light of her recent article, titled SPECIAL REPORT: The USCCB, Cuba and the Chong Chon Gang, which covers the misguided attempt by the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) to influence American policy towards Cuba, through its Committee on International Justice and Peace, in Washington DC.

As a program funded by the United States government, Radio Martí  has been broadcasting  to the people of Cuba for more than 28 years, with the mission to promote the principles of freedom and democracy.  Radio Martí  provides news and information not allowed inside the island by the Cuban Communist government.  Radio Martí  works in partnership with the U.S. State Department, the White House and the Voice of America.

The people of Cuba, as well as Cubans exiled all over the world, have had enough as victims of rapprochement and “dialogue” with the Castro regime, for nearly 54 years.  The idea that freedom for the Cuban people should come little by little must not be tolerated.  The Cuban people deserve better.  The Cuban people deserve freedom now.

In this important interview, Catholic writer and 2012 candidate for the United States Senate, Marielena Montesino de Stuart, vigorously argues against reconciliation with the Castro regime and warns the Cuban people that the economic alternative planned by the current government in Washington DC, as well as by the Vatican,  is international socialism– through Sustainable Development (Agenda 21).

Marielena Montesino de Stuart discusses the modern socialist reality of the Catholic Church, promulgated through the Second Vatican Council– a socialist reality which has now reached its apex, through the recent relaunching of Liberation Theology (a Marxist movement inside the Church).

Marielena Montesino de Stuart presents a compelling argument for the people of Cuba to chart their course of freedom through faith in God, without relying on entities, such as the Conference of Cuban Catholic Bishops, which along with the Committee on International Justice and Peace, at the USCCB in Washington DC– have  failed to denounce Communism, as part of their policy of reconciliation and appeasement.
