I mourn the death of Christians who are being beheaded and crucified by Islamic extremists throughout the Middle East. We must remain strong in our faith as we witness the martyrdom of these Christian victims, descendants of those who first followed Our Lord Jesus.
As we suffer this extermination of Christians, we must remind the world that there is no future for the Middle East without a strong Christian presence.
I implore the Child Jesus on this Christmas Day that He guide us, protect us and give as courage, as we walk through this valley of tears.
